Week Thirty-Four of School

Day 155 - Monday, May 13

Time to go fishing.



As Jesus said to the apostles..."I will make you fishers of people."



We enjoyed making our fish for our Breakfast on the Shore celebration this coming Wednesday morning.



Hopefully many moms and dads can make it our to the ceremony.



We coloured our fish carefully.



Markers make for bright colours.



"My fish is swimming, Mr. Hamer!" this lad says.

Day 156 - Tuesday, May 14



On Tuesday we continue to make our fish.



Good old toilet paper fills their tummies.



Before we stuffed the little creatures, we coloured both sides.



So when you turn them over you still see a nice fish!



Looking good!



Nice colour tones.



We are working on a "Good Samaritan" class book.



It's fun to work in different areas of the classroom.



Ms. Lena, our high school co-op students comes into our class whenever Mrs. Akkawi's students are invited in for a Religion lesson.

Day 157 - Wednesday, May 15



It's Wednesday morning.



We are on the shore...



...in the learning commons.



We've managed to catch...



...a fair amount of fish...



...in our net.

Swimming in all directions.



Oh look...a picnic!



Aha!  The picnickers!

Day 158 - Thursday, May 16


We are learning all about animals.


How they grow and change.


Specific examples of those that change quite a bit.


Live born...or hatching from an egg?


How animals are helpful to us and we to them.


Lots to learn, for sure!


With our interactive Smart Board we can enjoy a hands-on experience.
