Day 165 - Wednesday, May 29


We are proud of our hard work each day.



Today we completed our comprehension questions.



We had read the legend of Puss'n'Boots.



A rich father gave his three sons their inheritance.
The first son received the family home.



The second son received a donkey.
The third son received a cat.



Ask your son or daughter what happened in the end.



The children have learned to use a strategy that will ensure them of providing a complete response to a comprehension question.



Ask your child what the underlined red words mean, then the green followed by the blue and, finally, purple.

Day 166 - Thursday, May 30



Some more combining of the classes in our room.

After working hard we were rewarded with some fun chrome book time.

Day 167 - Friday, May 31


Just a few pics from Friday.


We are learning to determine if a fraction is "proper" or "improper".  We are also learning about mixed numerals.
