Day 56 - Monday, Nov. 26

On Saturday our choir assembled backstage at TD Place.



Before setting up to sing the National Anthem.



Before the Ottawa 67's game.



Smiles on faces.



A little nervousness.



But they were prepared.



And excited too.



Fingernails in the colours of the 67's hockey club.

Well, we were good luck charms as the Ottawa 67's won the game 8-4.
One of our St. Bernard families also won the 50-50 draw taking home over two thousand dollars.

Wednesday is our Scholastic Book Fair.

Day 57 - Tuesday, Nov. 27



Remember, tomorrow (Wednesday) will be the first day of our annual Scholastic Book Fair.  The children are able to purchase items during our visit in the morning.



Mr. Hamer had a cup full of neon coloured pencils for the children this morning.


Each child was able to select a pencil in the colour they liked.

We worked on our bus safety guide.

We learned safety rules when walking to the bus stop.

Day 58 - Wednesday, Nov. 28



Ms. Avilla was doing the library dance.



As she and her parent volunteers help set up for the Scholastic Book Fair.

Day 59 - Thursday, Nov. 29



The book fair continues today and through to tomorrow morning.



The children have enjoyed shopping around the Learning Commons.



"What to buy...what to buy?"

Day 60 - Friday, Nov. 30


Captain America paid our class a visit this Friday.


Along with a few sidekicks.


They stole the show.


With the leading star!


Then is was paired group work in math class.


We compared descending patterns.


Descending patterns are also known as shrinking patterns.


The children enjoyed working in teams.


Many solved the problems quickly.


A fun look on a student's face.


Math is challenging but fun.

Our number line assisted us in finding the correct answers.


A tasty treat.


Mrs. Hamer brought in a puzzled purchased thanks to our school council funds.


They pupils got started quickly.


With each peace found, there was a great expression of joy.
