Week Fifteen of School

Day 66 - Monday, Dec. 10


We enter the second week of Advent.
We prepare ourselves for the birth of Christ.

This afternoon all of the grade two students headed over to the school.



We assembled in Mrs. Eaton's class.



Once we had performed the bells we became the audience.



It was a play practice.



Everyone knows their lines.



And...their parts.



We are an attentive audience.

Day 67 - Monday, Dec. 11


 Catching up with our Christmas tree...



We find some more elves adding to the greenery.

Our French teachers really prepared the pupils.


Performances were from across the grades.

Day 68 - Wednesday, Dec. 12


Just a gentle reminder that tomorrow morning is our Grade Two Christmas showcase at 11:00 AM in the learning commons.



Today was dress rehearsal day.



We assembled in the pit of the learning commons.



Following the bells, our class and Mrs. Akkawi's class took our places as the choir.



Mrs. Eaton's and Mrs. Roche's students who were waiting their time to head onto the stage helped to form the audience as well.



Aren't they little angels?



Yes they are!

The play is underway!

With angels around.  We look forward to performing tomorrow!



Back in class we combined with Mrs. Akkawi's group.



We worked on stained glass angels, candles and bells.

Day 69 - Thursday, Dec. 13



We held our Christmas Showcase this morning.
Thanks to Mrs. MacDonald for the first few images as I was too busy to take photos.

What's this?  A Hydro Ottawa truck on the playground.  Why?



Because...one of our Grade Three pupils won the Hydro contest from the time when we had a Hydro demonstration in our school.  The young lad won a brand new Ipad!

Day 70 - Friday, Dec. 14


Friday found us visit the church in Block One for our Christmas mass.
Then it was indoors for a recess or two.


Lots of art gets done during indoor recesses.


Yup...that's lots of art for sure.


Construction happens too.


Teamwork helps gets things done quicker.

Creativity.
